The Beauty of Simplicity.

That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.

 Don't get me wrong, I admire elegance and have an appreciation of the finer things in life. But to me, beauty lies in simplicity.

 Life today is complex.Since we now classify sophistication as progress,we can definitely say we ,the human race has progressed indeed.We say we have crossed  gazillion milestones,traversed thorny paths which led to success and have succeeded.....
So,what have we achieved?Let us ponder.We have entangled ourselves in a web of complexity.We have created clever flattering masks which efficiently impresses the society and we have realized and used our dominance over the other inhabitants of this crumbling home.
But thinking of the situation with a very open mind,we are just like a prodigal son who has been bound together by the hypnotics of dominance because of which we think we have planet and its other inhabitants to call our OWN.To be frank,the human race just seems like a group of immature,uncomprehending teens.
Simplicity is woven in the very fabric of existence.Those who have realized and opted simplicity as their core value can see the world in a way the so called socially high classed people cannot even fathom.It would be impractical to be completely simple,as that basic complexity distinguishes us from primates.What we need to do is to untangle those unnecessary knots of chaos that disconnects us from nature

 Why I as a student and a teen finds relaxation from enjoying this simplicity.Every evening,when the sun begins to wrap itself in a velvet blanket of darkness,leave all your work and gaze through the window and melt away in the simple beauty of  dusk.Look at the enchanting hues of the clouds ,close your eyes and imagine yourself being one with nature.This atonement can shoulder the burden of all your thoughts.
The Masons were one of the most famous societies in the world.Their architecture and core values overwhelm the mind by just being simple.One of their main goals was:-'Ordo ab chao' or 'order from chaos'
I would say that complexity is a disaster waiting to happen.It is a synonym for chaos.I have seen many music artists introduce complex strings of notes in their song. A bit of  intricacy in music is necessary and is enjoyable.But to much of it can turn music into meaningless,untidy noise.
Simplicity is appealing to the mind.We all  know what complex information can do to our minds.Within a few minutes ,this complexity induces a frustration in us,reducing efficiency and clarity of thoughts.Thoughts are the engine and brain that powers our actions.A vague,misguided thought can result in unwanted and resented  actions.
Without simplicity,knowledge would be restricted.The fact or the knowledge may be extremely complicated,but for knowledge to be attained by the vast population of the world,simplicity is fundamental.There are many people walking the earth who admire their own capability to understand the complicated.The true power lies in giving knowledge,and since these peoples' thoughts are too engrossed in the entangled,are not able to spread knowledge.What is a gain when the only a single person is privileged to it? Stephen Hawking,my favourite personality of science has understood the complex systems of the universe ,so extreme in nature that people classified him as a being from outer space.But his feet are so grounded that he explains his theories in a way so simple that the secrets of the universe are comprehended easily by the common crowd.That is where the real power and greatness lies.
Sometimes the behaviour of the people around me gets on my nerves.Their sole goal in life is to be graded by society as elegant. A person should have Savoir vivre ,but that attempt to look elegant should be driven by the goal to satisfy our self and not be the desperation to be labelled as 'composed' by society.
Let us spend a little time each day to appreciate the simplicity of nature,life and our whole world.Simplicity is an aspect of existence that should not be ignored as it has an unimaginable importance.So lets be a bit more untangled.Believe me,life becomes much more easy and of course,simple.....

On a damp February morning, I found myself in the kitchen again. Letting the countertop drain the last ounce of warmth from my palms, I stood immovable like the air that was pressing against my chest.  A dull thud broke the silence as each second passed. The leaking faucet was shedding hefty tears in remembrance. My eyes glazed over as I watched the clock on the micro w a ve, while its garish digits rearranged themselves like clumsy children in a school play. They spelled out half past four.  Oddly, the street lights were out cold. The ground and sky were melting together into a thick black ooze that entombed everything in its path.The darkness was so profound that it filtered into the room like swelling beams of sunlight.  In one corner all the pots, pans and glasses were cuddled together in a confusing heap, lost in the depths of a dreamless sleep. Marionette

Drunk on the savour of the nightly bloom, I’m drawn deep into the settling fog. I don’t know where I am or how far I’ve strayed, but midnight feels farther than dawn. The wind has hummed itself to sleep, leaving an awkward silence in its wake. Now it’s just the echo of my hollow footsteps and the sweet scent of October in the air. Shattered blades of moonlight stab through the crevices in the clouds.
